In as few words as possible...I grew up in the Navy, moving every two years, except a three year stay in Hawaii to finish high school. Moving that often meant making new frieds over and over...oh well. Then two years in San Rafael California for college and two years in Athens Georgia for college. Since I couldn't do much with a degree in History of Art and Languages I became a "pseudo" hippie (without the drugs) and sang folk comedy for two years with a partner in Washington D.C. at the Briskskeller and Cellar Door...nice! Even sang second act to John Denver when he was first starting out....coooool. At that point my father disowned me 'cause he did't like the idea of me singing in an "Opium Den"....(it's a long story about hime in China during the war...) Then along the way I had two great sons...Kieran and Michael (better known as Freak). I'm a visiting nurse and have the best companion ever: a dachshund named Hummel! I hadn't sung since the 70's when I was with a folk group in my church in Winter Park florida, but Freak had a way of "convincing" me to sing at Ground Control (he basically told me to do it...heh) and I'm so glad I did...what a great time...and what geat friends he has.
